the sak crossbody/wristlet review 2022

I am happy to share with y’all my review of the Sak Crossbody/ Wristlet.  I received this as a Christmas gift last year and I love it.

I have found something similar that I will try to leave linked here!

So let’s get to the review:

The Sak wristlet/ crossbody review 2022

Front Pocket – It fits my iPhone and I have the iPhone 10.  It is a bit snug with my iPhone… so you have to tug to get it out.  It has a snap closure to keep it perfectly secure in that pocket.

The Sak wristlet /crossbody review 2022

Zipper Section – This is a huge wallet, it can easily hold: coupons, cards, cash, and maybe even a small lipgloss.

It has tons of card spots.  It has 8 slots on each side of the wallet – 16 in total.

It has 2 long cash pockets – remember to check out my video to see more details!

The wristlet has a small zipper slot in the middle to hold things like coins.

There is also extra space in the middle that I have used to hold gift cards, coupons, grocery lists, and a pen.  I have not had any luck getting my keys to fit into the zipper section.

The Sak wristlet/crossbody review 2022

This wallet comes with an attached wristlet and a strap to make a crossbody.  On the other side of the wallet it has “The Sak” written in small metal letters.  This reminds me of a Kate Spade type of bag.

This Sak wristlet/crossbody works perfect for me as a toddler mom.  I carry this with my Skip Hop Diaper bag.  If you would like to see the review of my Skip Hop Diaper Bag click here!

I also think this would make a great gift for a birthday or upcoming Mother’s Day.

I hope this review was helpful.  If you have any questions please leave them below.

Vera Bradley Marlo Satchel 6 Year Review

Vera Bradley Marlo Satchel 6 year Review

I have never wanted a purse more or paid for such an expensive purse in my life!

I remember finding this purse online and I knew I had to have it.  I always loved purses even when I was a little girl.

My usual brands are Vera Bradley, Coach Outlet, and some Kate Spade.

I saved up the cash and purchased this purse back in 2016 for $308.00.  It kind of hurts me to say that now, knowing I paid that much.

What hurts worse is I kept hoping it would go on sale like most Vera Bradley does… but it never did…. Till AFTER I bought it.  😉

Yes, a few weeks after I bought it it went on sale for $180.00.

So let’s discuss, why I love it, what I don’t like about it, would I buy it again, and is it practical for a toddler mom?

Why I love it:

I absolutely love the color.  Brown and gold are perfect for fall.  The purse is leather.  The front is almost like a thin fur.  I did not know till after I bought it, but it is calf hair.

It is a nice size purse that can hold your usual daily needs and extras.

It has one inside zipper pocket, two small inside pockets, and one vertical pocket on the outside.

It has small gold like prongs on the bottom to help keep the bottom from completely sitting on the floor.  This can help keep the bottom clean.

It has satchel handles and a strap for your shoulder.

What I don’t like:

I am very picky about the shape and structure of my bags.  This bag does not always hold its shape.  When you sit it down it can form wrinkles depending on how full it is and how it is sitting.

While it claimed to be crossbody, I would not carry it that way.  I do not think the strap is long enough.  It is comfortable just to carry on your shoulder.

Would I buy this purse again?

For $308? No

For $180? Eh no 😉

I do still love this purse and I plan to carry it again this fall season.  If that price was $120 or lower I would consider purchasing it again.

I did check Ebay.  You can not find this exact print (downtown dots) on Ebay.  You can find a lavender, black, white, and maroon one.  The ones marked new with tags range from $55-120.  A used one is usually less than $50.

Is this purse practical for toddler moms?

Yes.  For me this purse could easily carry my wallet, keys, phone, few other accessories, wipes, diaper, and even a snack.

I would not try to carry this with a baby and a diaper bag.  I have a crossbody wallet I love and have reviewed.  It works perfect with my diaper bag.  Here is the link!

I thought this would be a fun bag review to look back on.  I did my first YouTube video reviewing this purse back in 2016!

Have a great weekend!

The Perfect Crossbody Wallet for a Busy Toddler Mom

perfect crossbody wallet for busy mom

Happy Friyay!

I am so excited to share this post.  I have been loving this crossbody wallet I got for Christmas!  I’ll link it here!

perfect crossbody for busy mom

**** There is an updated version of this wallet with a zipper. ***

I am a busy toddler mom.  I have a 19 month old boy.  While I work from home a couple hours a week, I am mostly a stay at home mom.  Which means, I run all the errands just me and my bae.

I use to put all my stuff (wallet, keys, phone) in his diaper bag.  I have a blog post review for the diaper bag here!

It started to get annoying whenever I needed my wallet or phone – taking off the diaper bag and trying to fish my stuff out.  I was carrying my Vera Bradley wallet, which I love, before switching to this wallet.  If you want to see my review of my Vera Bradley wallet – click here!

So if you are a mom, student, or just a busy person, here is why I think this bag can be great for you:

What I love:

  • It has an adjustable strap – make it as long or short as you like.
  • The strap is removable if you just want to use it as a wallet in another bag.
  • Phone Pouch!  This is a winner for me – why don’t they make leggings with pockets ;). It does fit my iphone with a popsocket.
  • 8 card spots with 2 for Id’s
  • 4 extra large pockets- perfect for more cards, coupons, or checks.
  • HUGE cash pocket – maybe could even add a pen or lipgloss!
  • Change zipper in back – also could work as a spare pocket.
  • Don’t have to take the diaper bag off to find my wallet or cards!
  • $20 bucks!  Great gift idea!

What I don’t love

  • On the metal snap closure on the phone pouch it says – “Prettyzys – The Best Gift for me – Forever Friend.”  It is really small writing, so it is not super noticeable.
  • Snap closure – it is a little tricky to snap close – you have to get it perfectly lined up.  Now that I am use to it, it’s not a problem.

I hope you found this review helpful!  I absolutely love this wallet and I am so happy to share my fun find!

Quarantine 2020 Haul – Amazon, Old Navy, & More – For Momma & Toddler

quarantine haul 2020

I wanted to share with y’all a haul of things I bought over Quarantine. My state, Indiana, was on lockdown from March until May. We have continued to have certain restrictions, even now. Over that time, there was my husband’s birthday, Easter, Spring, Mothers Day, and so many other moments that were changed due to covid. My thoughts and prayers are for anyone who has experienced this virus or has lost a family or friend.

We had a whole list of to-do’s while in quarantine and of course it did not get completed.  ;). I did however do great at online shopping and I wanted to share my quarantine haul with you!

My first find is this cute face mask.  I’ll link it here!  My husband actually got one as well.  It fits him great and me not so much.  If I have my hair down and wear it over my hair it kind of works.  It does however make a great headband!

Target Handbag – Designer Dupe?!

Target Handbag -Designer Dupe!?!

Hey guys! Happy Friyay!

I am excited to share with you this designer dupe handbag I found at Target. CLICK HERE FOR LINK TO BAG!

I was having the perfect mom-day. Milo was being a good boy and I was breezing through Target.

I was actually walking through the purse section looking for a bag for my sister. (Check out my sisters purse review – Perfect for a Diabetic!)

Then I found this bag – IT WAS THE ONLY ONE LEFT!

Thats a sign right? 😉

After doing my normal ten minute debate I bought it. I knew I mostly carried a diaper bag but this would be nice when I just needed a purse.

And so far it is the PERFECT bag for me!

CLICK HERE TO WATCH MY VIDEO REVIEW!

So let me explain why I love this handbag?

  • 1 . Color! Love this color!
  • 2. Organization.
  • 3. Many pockets.
  • 4. Great Handles.
  • 5. Crossbody possibility!

I am very picky about my purses. I hate “slouchy” bags. The kind you sit down and it just sags and doesn’t hold its shape.

This bag doesn’t sag at all!

I also hate bags that are just an open tote. I need pockets and organization. I hate being in the check-out lane looking like I’m digging for something in my purse.

This bag has a wide open center with a magnetic closure. It also has two zip pockets along the front and back. The pockets are the full length of the purse! Yes, please! There is also a small pocket in the front.

The handles are the perfect length to carry on your arm. There is also a strap to wear over your shoulder or cross body. Plus the strap has a one side snake pattern, one side pink!

My hair dresser even told me it looks like a Kate Spade handbag!

This bag was a steal at Target for just $40!

I hope you have found this review helpful! I feel that this handbag was such a steal I had to share! Check out my youtube channel for more purse videos! Click Here!

Postpartum Fashion Haul! Boutiques & Walmart!

Happy Whatever Day It Is! One thing I have been learning from motherhood is whether it is waking up on time or making it to church on time – neither of them happen on time. 😉

I had originally planned for the post to go up two weeks ago, and then this past Friday. But it didn’t happen… and that’s okay. The world didn’t end. 😉 I have to remind myself of that daily.

So I wanted to share with y’all some of the clothing items I had gotten during my postpartum shopping spree.

Which I highly recommend!

If you are reading this and you are pregnant… start sitting back twenty dollars a paycheck. Then have a bit of a splurge whenever you feel like it after you have your baby.

It actually was pretty fun for me. I even did it all while sitting on the couch. Thank the Lord for the internet. 😉

It was fun shopping again and getting new clothes made me feel better and more like my old self.

So here are some of my fashion finds!

CLICK HERE TO WATCH MY VIDEO REVIEW!

1- Kimono – I originally fell in love with this outfit on the boutiques Instagram page. So I decided to recreate it myself. I purchased this kimono from a boutique. you can follow on Facebook – Sweet M’s. The olive green shirt I got from Old Navy. I think this outfit is perfect for the end of summer and going into fall. It also is perfect for the postpartum tummy worries and can provide some cover while breastfeeding! This kimono is in the $40-50 dollar range.

2- Check out the online Magnolia Boutique based out of Indiana. This boutique always has tons of cute options at decent prices. I picked out this striped summer dress. I have been loving dresses that hit just below the knees. This dress is very comfortable. I loved the design. It was a new print that i had never tried before.  new life- New print – New Dress – New Momma. 😉 This dress is $44.  CLICK HERE TO CHECK IT OUT!

3- This dress is also from the Magnolia Boutique. I have to say as a fair skin girl this dress kind of scared me, but I loved the design and shape of the dress. So I thought – go for it! Some reds just make my pale skin just look more pale. I think this dress though compliments my skin tone. It is perfect right now for wearing some cute brown sandals with. I also look forward to adding a denim jacket and booties for fall!  (This dress is no longer available – CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR POSSIBLE RESTOCK OPTIONS)

4- Dresses are perfect for postpartum momma’s during summer. I had a C-Section, so I did not like things coming around my belly. My mom actually got me this dress from Walmart by the brand Time and Tru. It is so comfy and has pockets! I am not sure if they still currently have this dress, but you might find it on some clearance racks! I even wore this dress during my last trimester of pregnancy!

5- I found this staple piece at Old Navy on sale. I this this is a perfect basic dress to always have in your closet. It looks adorable with a scarf during summer. I found a chic way to dress this dress up on Pinterest. (GO FOLLOW MY PINTEREST BOARDS TO FIND MORE OF MY FASHION FAVS!). I paired this dress with a flannel and some booties and I love the look it gives for fall!

I hope my fashion finds were inspirational to adding something new to your closet or inspiring you to wear something you already have.

If you have any questions leave them below! Or any other ideas of how to wear these 5 pieces I found.
